Iconic Grammy Award-winning musician Billy Joel will take the stage at Miller Park on Friday, April 26, Milwaukee Brewers officials announced today.
The concert will be the 69-year-old performer’s first-ever show at Miller Park, and his only concert in the Midwest this year.
Joel’s most recent appearance in Milwaukee was in March 2008 at the Bradley Center, but he returned to Wisconsin in 2017 for a performance at Lambeau Field in Green Bay.
“Billy’s got such an amazing songbook and I’m sure will put on a tremendous show,” said Brewers manager Craig Counsell during a press conference this morning. “I think of Billy as playing at baseball stadiums, especially in New York at Yankee Stadium and Shea Stadium, so bringing him to Miller Park is a real thrill.”
Tickets for the show go on sale to the general public on Friday, Jan. 18. American Express cardholders get first dibs with a presale taking place Jan. 14 to Jan. 17. More information is available on the team’s website.
Miller Park in recent years has hosted a handful of notable performers including Ed Sheeran, Kenny Chesney, One Direction and Paul McCartney.
