Renowned business book author to keynote Waukesha County 2035

Innovation expert Greg Satell will share insights on new era of innovation

Greg Satell, a renowned author, speaker and adviser, who frequently contributes to Harvard Business Review and other major publications, will be the keynote speaker at the Waukesha County 2035 – Competing in a New era of Innovation event.

Waukesha County 2035 is a new event presented by BizTimes Media in partnership with the Waukesha County Business Alliance and the Waukesha County Center for Growth. It will be held on Friday, April 26, from 7-11 a.m. at The Ingleside Hotel in Waukesha. Click here to register and for more information.

Satell’s first book, “Mapping Innovation” was chosen as one of the best business books of 2017 by 800-CEO-READ.

His next book, “Cascades: How to Create a Movement that Drive Transformational Change” is being published this month.

Satell says he helps businesses overcome disruption through programs and tools he developed researching the world’s best innovators and ‘most effective changemakers.”

Satell was recently named by Innovation Excellence as #2 on its global list of “Top 40 Innovation Bloggers” and by IDG as one of “10 Digital Transformation Influencers to Follow Today.”

The Waukesha County 2035 event will also feature presentations by W. Kent Lorenz, retired chairman and CEO of Waukesha-based industrial automation firm Acieta LLC, and Jay Hill Jr., chief technology officer and chief operating officer, imaging at GE Healthcare.

“We know Waukesha County will look very different in 2035 than it does today,” said Suzanne Kelley, president and CEO of the Waukesha County Business Alliance. “We have amazing businesses, a talented workforce and a strong educational system at all levels, so I’m very optimistic about the future of Waukesha County. However, we cannot become complacent.”
