Benes & Krueger joins Wipfli

Waukesha construction services firm absorbed by national accounting firm

Waukesha-based construction services firm Benes & Krueger S.C. has joined Wauwatosa-based accounting and consulting firm Wipfli LLP as of Dec. 1.

Benes & Krueger offers dispute resolution, litigation support and forensic accounting, computer system selection and implementation, operational audits and reviews, business planning, internal controls, audit and tax services to the construction industry. Its 10 employees, including the co-founders Michael Benes and Keith Krueger, who established the firm in 1990, have joined Wipfli’s Wauwatosa office.

Wipfli has 38 branches across the U.S. and two offices in India. It offers assurance, accounting, tax and consulting services. It has more than 1,700 employees and is ranked in the top 20 accounting and business consulting firms in the country.

The firms said the combination would strengthen their audit and tax offerings and provide additional construction consulting expertise to clients.
