Bartolotta closes Miss Beverly’s restaurant to offer catering only

Miss Beverly’s Deluxe Barbeque earlier this year shut down its restaurant operations and transitioned to a catering-only business.

The Bartolotta-owned restaurant, which first opened in 2014 at 5601 Broad St. in Greendale, is known for its barbecued meats smoked in-house. Its catering and by-the-pound menus also offer a selection of sides, including coleslaw, smoked baked beans, and mac ‘n’ cheese, and dessert.

“As our Miss Beverly’s concept has evolved, we have seen a growing demand for Miss Beverly’s coming from catering and special events rather than in-unit dining,” said Kelly Mallegni, marketing manager for The Bartolotta Restaurants.

Miss Beverly’s caters for large community events such as Zoo a la Carte and Summerfest’s the Big Gig BBQ. In addition, it still serves individual plates at Bartolotta’s Downtown Kitchen, located in the U.S. Bank building at 777 E. Wisconsin Ave., and at Joey Gerard’s, which shares a building with Miss Beverly’s in Greendale.
