What has been termed by the media as a “squabble” over a transit bidding process between the County Board and the County Executive is instead a clear and simple difference of opinion over how Milwaukee County will move forward on transportation and deliver transit services.

When Southridge Mall recently announced it would move Milwaukee County Transit System buses from the mall’s parking lot and move bus stops farther from the mall entrances, it was just another domino to fall in the process of making it more difficult for seniors and the disabled to ride and shop safely.

A recent BizTimes.com poll asked if a regional sales tax should be used to help finance a new arena to replace the Bradley Center in Milwaukee.
