AT&T announced today that it has expanded its 4G LTE network in southeastern Wisconsin. 4G LTE coverage now includes parts of West Bend, Grafton, Port Washington, Burlington, Saukville, and Jackson.
The company launched 4G LTE in Milwaukee in November, and the expanded coverage is part of its ongoing rollout across the market.
“We’ve seen positive response from customers on our 4G LTE launch, and as today’s expansion shows, we’re continuing our rollout of fast 4G LTE speeds to more areas of Milwaukee,” said AT&T Wisconsin State President Scott VanderSanden.
The November, 2012, launch of the wireless service included areas from the Illinois border up through the Interstate 94 corridor to Mequon and west to Pewaukee.
In May of this year, AT&T added new cell towers in Dousman and Kenosha. In June, upgrades were made in central Wisconsin, extending service to Portage, Beaver Dam, Columbus, Westfield, Plainfield, Hancock, Plover and Waupun.
