Associated Bank bolsters management and executive team with hiring and promotions

Green Bay-based Associated Bank announced several additions and promotions to its executive and management team in metro Milwaukee. They include:

• Ahmad Elsawaf has been hired as senior vice president, director of sales management and support. Elsawaf is responsible for the ongoing development, implementation and execution of Associated’s consumer bank sales process, development of sales tools and communications, the direct management of regional sales coaches and Bank at Work business development officers and the oversight and implementation of emerging sales programs.

• Jean Kraus has been hired as vice president, construction project manager. Kraus provides renovation and new construction systems support for the entire system including planning, construction, closeout and maintenance of the bank’s property.
• Wade Weisser has been hired as vice president, credit and debit card product manager where he is responsible for developing and managing all of Associated’s retail and small business credit card products as well as other retail payment products.
• Jason Gruettner has been promoted to deposit product manager. In this new role he is responsible for developing deposit products for consumers and managing their implementation through bank staff members.

• Thad Gabron has been promoted to vice president, sales planning and analysis manager. He is responsible for the development, recommendation, coordination and analysis of financial models as they relate to campaigns and sales initiatives.
• Scott Lutzow has been named vice president, retail incentive plan manager. He oversees the overall management, administration, budget, communication, analysis and compliance of all retail incentive and commission plans.
• Clarice Young has been promoted to vice president, commercial banking sales reporting manager, where she will manage the development and tracking of incentive programs and sales activity reports for Associated’s commercial banking division.

• Mike Talbot has been named vice president, information technology business solutions for Associated’s wealth management and corporate systems.
• Joe Shortreed has been named vice president, construction project manager. He provides management and construction systems support for facility renovations and new construction projects throughout the Associated footprint.
• Curt Kolell, MAI, has been promoted to chief appraisal compliance officer. He is responsible for management of the department overseeing appraisal ordering and review on all of Associated Bank’s real estate related transactions.
• Jill Spielmann has joined Associated’s wealth management division as vice president, personal trust relationship manager, where she is responsible for developing and managing banking relationships.
• Mary Gunderson has joined Associated’s business banking division as vice president, business banking relationship manager where she will manage and develop a portfolio of commercial business relationships.
