The Milwaukee Center for Independence marked its 75th year with a gala at Discovery World on Thursday evening. The anniversary celebration featured a keynote address by Dr. Michio Kaku, a theoretical physicist, bestselling author and regarded futurist. The evening also included the inaugural presentation of the Spirit of Independence Awards.
