Applicants sought for fourth Scalerator

Growth oriented program accepting applicants through Sept. 1

Scale Up Milwaukee is seeking applications for the fourth Scalerator, a six-month training program aimed at helping businesses in the region grow.

Scale Up Milwaukee is seeking applicants for Scalerator 4.

Applications will be accepted until Sept. 1 for Scalerator 4. There is no specific industry focus, but companies applying should be owner-managed and located in southeastern Wisconsin. Applicants need an exportable good or service, should be ambitious about their growth and have annual revenue in the range of $1 million to $10 million.

Selected business will be invited for interviews in September and the class will be announced in early or mid-October.

The Scalerator program is a six-month, seven-session training program that aims to teach business owners practical skills to inject growth into their ventures. It is administered by a team of professors form Babson College and draws on investors, banks, professional services firms, universities and public sector stakeholders to support growth.

The program has helped 45 companies from throughout the region add 150 new hires and a projected 42 percent increase in annual revenue.

Scale Up Milwaukee is an initiavite of the Greater Milwaukee Committee and is supported by the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp.
