Amanda Singh was named to the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design (MIAD) Board of Trustees.
Singh is a Milwaukee-based, third-generation professional artist and community volunteer. She formerly was an elementary school teacher in Chicago Public Schools and was elected to the Local School Council, where she helped her school receive a prestigious Fine Arts and Dual Language designation from the Chicago Board of Education. She is an active member of the MIAD Creative Fusion Art Acquisitions Committee, which secures works and experiences for the auctions at the college’s annual scholarship fundraiser. She has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Master of Education from Loyola University Chicago.
