ACG Wisconsin Announces Outstanding Corporate Growth and Leadership Award Winners

ACG Wisconsin is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2020 ACG Wisconsin Outstanding Corporate Growth Award and the 2020 ACG Wisconsin Leadership Award.

Generac has been selected to receive the Outstanding Corporate Growth Award and the recipient of ACG Wisconsin’s first Leadership Award is Jeffery Yabuki, Executive Chairman, Fiserv.

Generac has consistently demonstrated a strong and steady commitment to being the global leader in quality power products and solutions. The organization is celebrating its 61st year in Wisconsin and has made significant investments over the past several years in its Wisconsin-based facilities to revolutionize its own manufacturing plants and processes. The company has also renovated and expanded its global headquarters in Waukesha, with state-of-the-art engineering and R&D facilities. Due to Generac’s significant focus on research and development and new products, a meaningful portion of revenue each year comes from new products that have been introduced over the past three years.

Generac was the first to engineer affordable home standby generators, along with the first engine developed specifically for the rigors of generator use, and is now the #1 manufacturer of home backup generators. Generac manufactures the widest range of power products in the marketplace including portable, residential, commercial, and industrial generators. In 2019, Generac launched its industry-leading PWRcell battery storage system, making the Company a leader in the solar+storage market.

Generac’s customer focus, innovation, commitment to Wisconsin manufacturing, investment in building careers and developing its employees, and exceptional, strategic growth are among the reasons they were selected for this year’s ACG Wisconsin Outstanding Corporate Growth Award.

The recipient of ACG Wisconsin’s first Leadership Award is Jeffery (Jeff) Yabuki, Executive Chairman, Fiserv.

Jeff Yabuki served as Chief Executive Officer of Fiserv from 2005 through June 2020 and continues as Chairman of the Board of Directors through December 2020. Under his leadership, the company transformed from a traditional holding company into an integrated operating company focused on driving purposeful innovation to deliver best-in-class software, services and solutions that enable financial services and payments experiences at the point of thought.

During his tenure as CEO, Fiserv grew through a combination of internal investments and strategic acquisitions. Yabuki led the acquisition of First Data in 2019, expanding the company’s ability to deliver differentiated value to its clients through market-leading fintech and payments solutions for financial institutions, merchants, businesses and consumers.

Yabuki spearheaded the decision to name Fiserv Forum, a physical manifestation of the company’s commitment to the community and to the delivery of best in class experiences.

From the time he became CEO through the end of 2019 the company nearly tripled revenue and achieved a total shareholder return of 969%. A member of the FORTUNE 500, Fiserv had $15.8 billion in pro forma revenue in 2019. In 2020 the company was recognized among FORTUNE World’s Most Admired Companies for a seventh consecutive year and eleven of the last twelve years.

Yabuki is currently a member of the Board of Directors for Royal Bank of Canada (TSX: RY and NYSE: RY) and Ixonia Bancshares, Inc. He is also a trustee of the Milwaukee Art Museum.

His exceptional leadership, vision, and commitment to Fiserv and the community make Jeff Yabuki a well-deserving recipient of ACG Wisconsin’s first Leadership Award.

ACG Wisconsin will celebrate the awardees on Friday, November 6th at 8:00 a.m.
