Cory Ampe, founder and chief marketing officer at Shorewood-based Campe + Co., has built a reputation as a leader in brand strategy and digital marketing, according to colleagues.
“Cory’s ability to take on projects that many would walk away from and turn them into beautiful products with phenomenal outcomes is her secret gift,” said Beth Weirick, chief executive officer of the Downtown Milwaukee Business Improvement District. “She has a track record for getting big, important creative projects over the finish line.”
Ampe launched Campe + Co. in 2022 to provide marketing, brand and content strategy services across various industries, including the arts, events, media, placemaking, nonprofit, technology and tourism.
Ampe also helped re-establish The 99 United Adworkers Awards Show as volunteer president of United Adworkers, drawing more than 500 attendees.
Ampe serves on the boards of Islands of Brilliance, the Milwaukee Downtown Placemaking Task Force and Sculpture Milwaukee. She also serves on the Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast board development committee and the Vel Phillips Legacy Initiative Task Force, which recently placed a sculpture on the State Capitol grounds.
