Brown Deer-based Badger Meter reported net sales of $703.6 million in 2023, a 24% increase from the prior year and a revenue record for the maker of water meters. The company saw its software sales increased 27% to $42 million for the year.

In the fourth quarter, the company reported sales of $182.4 million, a 24% increase from the same period in 2022.
