Gustave A. Larson Company, a Pewaukee-based distributor of HVACR equipment, parts, and supplies, announced a new partnership aimed at making the company a leader in its respective industry.
Larson and Salt Lake City, Utah-based
Applied Products Solutions (APS) are partnering with
Hajoca Corp. APS is a commercially-focused HVAC rep firm and wholesaler and Hajoca is one of the country’s largest wholesale distributors of plumbing, heating and industrial supplies. APS is a subsidiary of the Gustave A. Larson Company.
Hajoca has purchased a “major ownership stake” in Larson, according to
Andrew Larson, chairman of the board at Gustave A. Larson Company.
“Hajoca and Larson have a mutual growth plan to be the leaders in the markets that they serve,” said Andrew Larson. “This partnership allows us to have the opportunity to have both the focus on organic growth as well as inorganic growth.”
This partnership accelerates Hajoca’s strategic intent to become a leader in the North American HVAC market. The Larson team will collaborate with the Hajoca HVAC Divisions in the U.S. as the company works toward becoming a local market leader.
“We couldn’t be more excited to join the Hajoca team,” said
Scott Larson, chief executive officer of the Gustave A. Larson Company. “Their core values of fairness and caring, trust and respect, generous listening, and straight talk match up perfectly with our Larson values. The combination of the two organizations ensures the Larson legacy as a family business and will allow us to grow and serve our customers into the future. We are excited by the possibilities for organic growth as well as being a welcoming home for HVAC/R owners and companies that share our values to join us.”
Both Andrew Larson and Scott Larson will remain with the company in their current positions.
