Wisconsin one of 8 teams coming to Milwaukee for NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament

The University of Wisconsin men’s basketball team, co-champions of the Big Ten Conference, are one of 8 teams that will be playing in NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament games at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee on Friday, March 18.

The winners of Friday’s games will play on Sunday, March 20 at Fiserv Forum.

The tournament bracket was revealed Sunday. In addition to Wisconsin, the others teams that will be playing in Milwaukee include: Purdue, LSU, Texas, Iowa State, Virginia Tech, Colgate and Yale.

Wisconsin will play Colgate at 8:50 p.m. on Friday. The game will be telecast on TBS. The winner of that game will play Sunday at Fiserv Forum against the winner of the LSU vs. Iowa State game.

The other first round games in Milwaukee on Friday will feature Texas vs. Virginia Tech and Purdue vs. Yale. The winner of those games will also play Sunday at Fiserv Forum.

This will be the first time that the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament has been played at Fiserv Forum. Milwaukee has been host to NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament games several times, the most recent being in 2017.

Fiserv Forum is also slated to host first and second round NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament games in 2025.

Marquette’s men’s basketball team was also selected for the NCAA tournament, and will play in Fort Worth, Texas on Thursday against the University of North Carolina in the first round.
