Milwaukee-based
Brady Corp. is in the middle of a leadership change as
J. Michael Nauman, current director, president and chief executive officer, is retiring.
Russell R. Shaller will succeed Nauman as president, chief executive officer and director effective April 1.
Shaller is currently the company’s senior vice president and president of identification solutions.
Nauman will take on a consulting role with Brady Corp. until June 17 to help with the transition process.
"During Michael’s tenure as CEO, Brady strengthened its position as a global leader of complete solutions for niche safety, identification and compliance markets while focusing on long-term sustainable organic growth and profitability improvements, resulting in record-high EPS in fiscal 2021," said Bradley C. Richardson, chair of Brady’s board of directors. "We look forward to continuing to grow the business both organically and through strategic acquisitions as we further position Brady into faster-growing end markets.”

Shaller has served as Brady’s senior vice president and president of identification for nearly seven years. He will keep his responsibilities in this role as a search is conducted for his replacement. Before coming to Brady Corp., Shaller served as president of Teledyne Microwave Solutions from 2008 to 2015.
