Milwaukee-based
Global Value Investment Corp. has promoted
James Geygan to chief operating officer and senior vice president, and Stacy Wilke to chief financial officer and senior vice president, the firm announced Tuesday.
Global Value Investment Corp. is an investment research and advisory firm focused on investing in the equity and debt of publicly traded companies around the world.
Geygan has served as GVIC’s vice president of research since 2017, leading the firm’s U.S. and India-based research teams. Geygan has also played a role in the firm’s investor and legal activist strategies since 2018.
Prior to joining GVIC, Geygan spent five years with Wells Fargo & Company, according to a press release.
"(James) is a uniquely qualified person to direct the operations of the firm and execute its long-term business strategy," GVIC CEO and president Jeffrey Geygan said in a statement. "His extensive experience and focus on business strategy and analysis will ensure the firm growth and success well into the future."
Wilke, who along with James Geygan will start her new role Jan.1, has served as GVIC ‘s controller since 2017, leading the firm’s U.S. and India-based finance and compliance team. Wilke has also led the firm’s cyber security and cloud migration initiatives through 2019 and 2020.

Prior to joining GVIC, Wilke spent ten years with Kohls Corp. in various corporate roles within store operations, according to a press release.

Founded in 2007, GVIC is headquartered in Milwaukee with offices in Boston, Charleston, Morristown and Hyderabad, India.
