Dream Dance Steakhouse announces reopening date

Closed in June for $1.3 million renovation

Dream Dance Steakhouse at Potawatomi Hotel & Casino will reopen Oct. 1 after undergoing a $1.3 million renovation.

The restaurant has been temporarily closed since early June.

Changes to the space include a redesigned dining area, expanded front-of-house bar and a wine archway connecting the bar and dining areas.

Dream Dance will also roll out a redesigned menu thanks to new head chef Matthew Molli.

Molli, who has worked at Potawatomi Hotel & Casino for six years, plans to use his previous experience as a chef at a local burger and custard restaurant to put a modern twist on the traditional steakhouse menu, the company said.

“There’s something amazing about taking a handful of ingredients and being able to make a big variety of dishes,” Molli said. “There’s a science and creativity involved. I get to be specific and artistic at the same time.”

Molli replaces Dream Dance’s former head chef Mark Shoup.

Reservations are being accepted now for the re-opening, and can be made through Potawatomi’s website.

The Dream Dance Steakhouse dining room will be open Tuesday through Thursday from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and on Fridays and Saturdays from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. The bar will be open at 4 p.m. those days, offering burger, wine and tap beer specials.
