Waukesha State Bank, Waukesha, has hired Dr. Cindy Gnadinger to its board of directors. Gnadinger has been president of Carroll University since July 2017 and replaces Doug Hastad, former president of Carroll University, who had served on the Bank’s board since 2008.
As the 15th president of Carroll University, and the first woman to serve in the role of president since Carroll’s inception in 1846, Gnadinger brings with her more than two decades of experience in higher education, including serving in the roles of faculty, dean, vice president for academic affairs and provost. Recently, she served as president of St. Catharine College in St. Catharine, Kentucky.
Gnadinger earned both her Ed.D. in education supervision and her M.Ed. in early education from the University of Louisville. She also holds a B.S. in elementary education from Western Kentucky University.
“Cindy is a leader in the higher education industry, and we are excited to welcome her to Waukesha State Bank’s board of directors,” said Ty Taylor, president and CEO of Waukesha State Bank. “Her impressive experience will be extremely valuable as Waukesha State Bank continues to grow.”
In addition to serving on the corporate board of Waukesha State Bank, Gnadinger also serves on the Waukesha County Business Alliance’s board of directors. Furthermore, she was active in the Louisville, Kentucky community serving as an education committee member with Holy Cross High School and as part of the Bellarmine University President’s cabinet.
