The law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP announces that Milwaukee office managing partner, Katie Maloney Perhach, has received a 2016 Philanthropic 5 award from the United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County.
The Philanthropic 5 Award, created by United Way’s Emerging Leaders Council, recognizes five community leaders in their 20s, 30s and 40s who have made extraordinary commitments of leadership, volunteerism, mentoring, and philanthropy to Greater Milwaukee and Waukesha’s nonprofit community. Perhach and the other four leaders will be honored at an event at South Second on August 18.
The Philanthropic 5 Award Winners also receive $500.00 to invest in the cause of their choice. Perhach has chosen as her recipient the Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center of Milwaukee, Inc., and its Shiluv program, for its unparalleled commitment to inclusive summer camp experiences for children with developmental disabilities and special needs.
