Federal Defender Services of Wisconsin, Inc., Milwaukee, has named a new executive director, Craig W. Albee. Albee has been with FDSW for five years, previously serving as its senior trial lawyer. He has more than 25 years of experience in criminal defense.
In his new role as executive director, Albee will continue to represent clients, serve as the principal liaison with federal judges and federal criminal justice agencies, and supervise a staff of approximately 20 employees, including 11 attorneys. Albee will oversee each of FDSW’s offices, located in Milwaukee, Madison, and Green Bay.
Albee is a resident of Milwaukee and an alumnus of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he received both his Bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctor degree (J.D.).
