Attorney Christine V. Hamiel was promoted to Shareholder at von Briesen & Roper S.C.’s Milwaukee office. Hamiel chairs the firm’s School Law Section. She concentrates her practice on assisting school districts on all aspects of law surrounding education. Hamiel provides advice and guidance to districts on the most challenging issues facing schools today, such as transgender issues, student discipline, daily management and operational concerns, pupil special education and accommodation matters, and employment matters. Hamiel has significant experience representing school boards in public records, open meetings, board policy and annual meetings.
