Milwaukee-based Foley & Lardner LLP announced that Jay Rothman, Chairman and CEO has been honored for his personal achievements and support of his alma mater, Marquette University, at the university’s 2016 Alumni National Awards. Rothman is among the 50 accomplished alumni and friends who were honored for their personal achievements and support of the university.
Rothman (Arts’ 82) received the Professional Achievement Award from the Helen Way Klingler College of Arts and Sciences. Rothman, who serves as chairman and CEO of Foley, was honored for his leadership role with the firm as well as serving as chairman of the board of directors of Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. Rothman is a member of the firm’s Management Committee and a former chair of the Transactional & Securities Practice. He has been actively involved with the Children’s Hospital and Health System for more than 10 years.
“Every single day, I am challenged, I learn something new and I grow as a person,” said Rothman about receiving the honor. “It doesn’t get much better than that.”
