Northwestern Mutual has promoted Sheldon Cuffie to chief information security officer and named an executive officer for Northwestern Mutual, effective January 2016.
Cuffie joined Northwestern Mutual in 2006. He most recently served as the company’s vice president of information risk management,
responsible for Northwestern Mutual’s cyber-security, risk management, and enterprise privacy programs.
Prior to Northwestern Mutual, Cuffie served in the Wisconsin Army National Guard for nine years and worked in information systems leadership roles for Kohl’s, M&I Bank, Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Company, and Abbott Laboratories Global Pharmaceuticals division.
Cuffie graduated from Concordia University with a bachelor’s of arts in Management, and later earned a master of science degree in Organizational Leadership from Quinnipiac University (Hamden, CT) in 2013.
Cuffie lives in Brown Deer with his wife, Celeste, and their two children.
