Jeffrey Bailet, M.D., executive vice president at Aurora Health Care and president of Aurora Health Care Medical Group, has been named Chair Elect for the American Medical Group Association (AMGA)’s Board of Directors for 2016. The AMGA is focused on enhancing population health and care for patients through integrated systems of care.
Bailet, who in October 2015 was appointed to serve on the Government Accountability Office’s new Physician-Focused Payment Model Technical Advisory Committee, will now expand his role on the AMGA board as Chair Elect, ensuring the board carries out the mission of AMGA member organizations and physicians. He will continue to serve as a member of the AMGA Board of Directors Executive Committee, where he has served as Secretary for the past year.
