Troy Vosseller, co-founder of the Milwaukee-based startup accelerator gener8tor, will speak at a Startup Grind MKE event on Thursday night.
The event will be held at the Hudson Business Lounge at 310 E. Buffalo St. in the Historic Third Ward from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Startup Grind MKE is the Milwaukee branch of an international organization that holds monthly networking events and lectures to promote entrepreneurship in different cities.
Prior to co-founding gener8tor, Vosseller worked at the Universtiy of Wisconsin Law School’s Law & Entrepreneurship Clinic, a program that provides free legal services to startups and entrepreneurs, as an assistant clinical professor and supervising attorney. While an undergraduate at UW-Madison, he founded a t-shirt company called Sconnie Nation, which markets a line of Wisconsin-themed apparel. Vosseller earned a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree in business administration and a law degree from UW-Madison.
Tickets to the event cost $10 if purchased in advance online and $15 at the door. Each ticket includes one drink coupon for a beer or glass of wine after the presentation.
