The parking structure was built 35 years ago.

The renovation project will take place in 2018. The hotel and restaurants in the American Club building will be closed during the month of January 2018, but then will begin to reopen Fridays and Saturdays in February and March; with all operations reopened by mid-year 2018.

“Our temporary closing will enable us to work on the renovation project without impacting guests and, when we are far enough along in the process, we will reopen restaurants to their regular hours and about two-thirds of our hotel rooms until the project is complete. We are excited to elevate our lodge offering in such a major way for our guests,” said Christine Loose, group director of lodging for Kohler Co.

During the work on the parking structure, the 55-room annex to The American Club, called the Carriage House, will remain open.

Kohler is working on two other hotel projects in Wisconsin. The Inn on Woodlake in Kohler currently is undergoing an expansion that will be completed in December 2017.  It will add a combination of 4-bedroom and 2-bedroom units along with additional single rooms.

In Green Bay, Kohler Co. is building a hotel, called Lodge Kohler, next to Lambeau Field. The hotel will open in July of 2017.
