Kenosha-native Kendra Scott will open her first Wisconsin store at The Corners of Brookfield development, adding to the growing list of first-to-Wisconsin tenants at the mixed-use development opening in the Town of Brookfield in spring 2017.
Scott, who moved to Austin when she was 19, but still has family in Kenosha, formed her own line of jewelry in 2002. In 2010, she opened her flagship store, Kendra Scott, in Austin. Today, the company continues to design and operate out of Austin and her jewelry is available in more than 800 stores internationally.
“We’re excited to bring yet another first-to-Wisconsin retailer to The Corners, and the fact that Kendra Scott was born in Kenosha makes this store even more special,” said Jay Eck, Vice President, Bradford Real Estate Services Corp., which is the development manager for project. “Up until now, Kendra Scott fans have had to travel out of state or purchase her accessories online. Now shoppers will be able to create their own Kendra Scott designs and experience the brand firsthand.”
The Corners of Brookfield, located at I-94 and Barker Road, is a 750,000-square-foot mixed-use development that will include 400,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space. It is anchored by a 140,000-square-foot Von Maur Department Store and a 30,000-square-foot Sendik’s Food Market.
Other tenants include Anthropologie, Arhaus, Anthony Vincé Nail Spa, BelAir Cantina, Café Hollander, Evereve, Francesca’s, Free People, lululemon athletica, L.L.Bean, Paper Source and Scout and Molly’s.
