Fun World, an entertainment center, opened in the mid-1990s and closed in 2010. Fun World was an indoor complex that featured dozens of games, laser tag, miniature golf and a Ferris wheel.

Pella Windows & Doors of Wisconsin purchased the 25,000-square-foot building to create a new showroom. The space is 50 percent largest than Pella’s current showroom at 13745 W. Capitol Dr. in Brookfield.

“We have been looking for a permanent home again for ourselves in the Milwaukee market,” said Michael Calawerts, co-owner of Pella Windows & Doors of Wisconsin. “We have been leasing in the area for a few years, but we want a location that is perfect for us. This location is the answer as it is centrally located for our customers and fits every need of our organization.”

Pella Windows & Doors of Wisconsin is anticipating a grand opening for the new showroom in early 2017.

“The windows of this space play a significant role in the design of the building,” said John Calawerts, co-owner of Pella Windows and Doors of Wisconsin. “Since we are a window and door company, this window architecture works well with our Pella logo.”
