The Milwaukee Bucks have partnered with Milwaukee Tool in a deal that will make the Brookfield-based company’s products the only tools used to build the team’s new arena and brands the job site as the Milwaukee Tool Construction Site.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Milwaukee Tool to the Bucks family and look forward to working together to build a world-class arena that will be a lasting symbol for the region,” Bucks president Peter Feigin said.
The deal calls for Milwaukee Tool to make its entire catalog of power tools, hand tools and accessories available to arena project manager Mortensen Construction and area subcontractors.
“With a shared passion for innovation and the city of Milwaukee, we are proud to partner with the Bucks on this project,” said Milwaukee Tool Group president Steve Richman. “Together we will build an incredible sports complex, drive growth and create hundreds of new construction jobs in Wisconsin.”
The Bucks will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for the new arena from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the corner of Fourth Street and Juneau Avenue.
