Life Time gyms will enter the Wisconsin market with a 120,000-square-foot facility at The Corridor mixed-use development in Brookfield.
The Chanhassen, Minn.-based company has 119 clubs in 26 states. Life Time – The Healthy Way of Life Company is a large-format sports, fitness, family recreation and spa center.
“We’re very happy to bring a new-to-market, high-end destination like Life Time to The Corridor,” said David Arnold, executive vice president at Irgens, developer of The Corridor. “We’re confident that residents in Brookfield and the surrounding region will find Life Time to be a great addition to the community.”
The planned two-story facility will include a 55,000-square-foot outdoor aquatic center with zero-depth entry pools, lap pools, and waterslides. There will also be dance, art, music and tumbling studios available for children, indoor and outdoor cafes and a full-service salon and spa.
“Life Time will be a great addition to The Corridor and the city of Brookfield,” said Brookfield Mayor Steven Ponto. “The fact they chose this location for their initial entry into the Wisconsin market underscores the value that retailers and others are putting on The Corridor and our community as a whole.”
The Corridor is the 66-acre planned mixed-use development next to I-94, bordered by Bluemound Road to the north and Calhoun Road to the east. Other tenants include Dick’s Sporting Goods, Portillo’s and a Hilton Garden Inn hotel.
