The metro Milwaukee housing market is the third healthiest in the nation, according to a new Health of Housing Markets Report from Columbus, Ohio-based Nationwide.
The metro Milwaukee area’s housing market ranked behind only Springfield, Ill. and Niles-Benton Harbor, Mich., according to the report.
“The most sustainable markets in the nation tend to be located in the Midwest, with steady job gains, accelerating household formations, and house price appreciation that is mostly in line with incomes,” the report states.
The U.S. housing market continues to see positive momentum, according to the report.
“The U.S. housing market is healthy with little chance of a housing downturn in the next year,” the report states.
