The transaction price was not disclosed, but Complete Office’s revenue will grow from $50 million to $60 million with the acquisition, said Ron Beam, co-owner and chief executive officer of Central Office.

Complete Office distributes office supplies, furniture and promotional products throughout Wisconsin. It will add Hadley’s Wausau facility and its five employees to its distribution network. Complete Office, which now has about 165 employees, also has branches in Madison, Appleton, Stevens Point, La Crosse and Sheboygan.

Purchasing Hadley has allowed Complete Office to further expand its footprint in central Wisconsin and gain a group of loyal customers, Beam said.

“They had been in that market for 51 years. I mean, they were a smaller competitor, but they had a very good following in the community,” he said. “We welcome the employees of Hadley Office Products to the Complete Office family. This acquisition and newly combined organization is another step towards our goal of furthering our distribution capabilities throughout the Western U.S. We believe there is a real market need for a company offering high touch, customized service at competitive prices to customers in all market segments.”

Mark and Deb Hadley, former owners of Hadley Office Products, will retire.

“Complete Office of Wisconsin was the best fit for our employees and customers, as they have the same commitment to quality service, competitive pricing and the value of a knowledgeable and professional staff,” the Hadleys said in a statement.

Complete Office has grown from $11 million in sales in 2006 to $60 million in sales today, both through organic growth and through two other acquisitions: Bubrick’s Office Supply in 2006 and Emmons Business Interiors in January of this year.
