Nonprofit consulting firm returns in Milwaukee

A nonprofit consulting firm has relaunched in Milwaukee to provide services that target all angles of philanthropy.Consulting-338002385-Shutterstock.jpg

Strategies for Philanthropy LLC, operated by nonprofit veteran Susie Stein, will work with nonprofit organizations, donors and corporate foundations and will specialize in projects related to fund development and campaign management, strategic planning, staff recruitment, staff mentoring, leadership onboarding and communications.

Stein, founder and president of Strategies for Philanthropy, has more than three decades of experience in philanthropy. Throughout her career, she has secured $200 million in gifts, including $50 million in endowment.

She is currently assisting All Hands Boatworks, Creative Alliance Milwaukee, MS Run the US; RUACH Milwaukee, and the Social Development Commission.

She has previously worked with Aurora Health Care Foundation; Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeastern Michigan; COA Youth & Family Centers; Marquette University; Milwaukee Area Workforce Investment Board; Milwaukee College Prep; Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design; Safe & Sound, Inc.; United Performing Arts Fund; U.S. Coast Guard Foundation; and Wisconsin Regional Training Partnership/BIG Step.

Stein also previously worked as the senior philanthropy and marketing executive for Bradley Technology and Trade School Foundation, the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee, University School of Milwaukee, and others.
