David Bouton recently became the new president and chief executive officer of Trostel Ltd., a Lake Geneva-based custom rubber molding and compounding company.
He succeeds Steve Dyer who held the role since 2013. Dyer left to pursue other interests, said Bouton’s executive assistant Shelly Stefanczyk.
Bouton has more than 35 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, according to a company bio. He has served in various general manager and functional leadership roles with Americhem Inc. from 2004 to 2013 and with DuPont from 1980 to 2004. Most recently he was the managing partner of InnovaNet, a consulting firm focused on business optimization and growth.
Bouton has experience globally across a broad array of products and industries, including plastics and rubber, specialty compounding, specialty chemicals, and fibers inside of the automotive, tire and rubber goods, building and construction, and fibers and textiles industries.
He holds an engineering degree from The Ohio State University and a Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
