The Container Store plans to make a big splash as it opens at Mayfair Mall in Wauwatosa on Saturday, Sept. 12, complete with giveaways for its customers all weekend.
The retailer, which sells organizational and storage solutions, will officially open its doors on Sept. 12 with a kickline performance and celebration of the store’s new employees at 8:30 a.m.
The Container Store has also chosen Lindsay Timmerman as its Super Fan winner for the Mayfair opening. Timmerman will be treated to a VIP day, with the first spot in line, a golden Super Fan shopping cart, a package of organization tools and a receiving line from employees.
On both Saturday and Sunday, the store will give out prizes every hour, including a $1,000 elfa Space Makeover with installation prize each day.
The Container Store will also donate 10 percent of its sales from the grand opening weekend to the Junior League of Milwaukee.
The store, located on the east side of the mall at 10400 W. North Ave., is the Coppell, Texas-based retailer’s 74th location. It will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12 and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13.
