Godfrey & Kahn, Milwaukee, announced the addition of Patricia J. Kaeding to the firm’s Food and Drug Administration (FDA) practice. Kaeding has 10 years of litigation and counseling experience in the U.S. FDA’s office of the chief counsel. Prior to joining the FDA, Kaeding worked for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in the Office of the General Counsel, Chicago. She received her bachelor’s degree from UW-Madison and her law degree from the University of Chicago Law School.
Joseph A. Malucha has recently joined MSI General, Oconomowoc, as a sales/project director. He brings more than 10 years of interior construction and project management experience as well as business management experience to MSI. Malucha graduated from UW-Whitewater with a bachelor of business administration degree in finance.
Mader Communications Group (MCG), Milwaukee, welcomed art director Stacy Slutzky to its advertising, marketing, design and media team. Slutzky has experience in conceptual design and production as well as designing direct mail, advertising, web and large-format promotions. She was previously a graphic designer for Potawatomi Bingo Casino and has held positions at local design firms. Slutzky graduated from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design (MIAD) with a bachelor of fine arts degree in communication design.
Patrick W. Keating was appointed vice president of Lauber & Company, Milwaukee. Keating will serve as part-time CFO. Prior to joining Lauber, Keating served as a chief financial officer for several companies in the manufacturing, distribution fabrication, foundry and construction industries.
PDC Midwest, Hartland, has added Daniel Ferraro, as a project architect and production manager. Ferraro comes to PDC Midwest with more than 25 years of architectural experience. He is a licensed architect, and received his bachelor’s degree in architecture from UW-Milwaukee.
Nelson Schmidt, Milwaukee, announced the addition of Carrie-Ann Kulinski as senior account executive. Prior to joining Nelson Schmidt, Kulinski managed all internal and external communications for GE Medical Systems’ Global Ultrasound division.
Christine Fredrickson has been named private banking region manager for U.S. Bank Private Client Group’s Mid-America region. Fredrickson has been with the U.S. Bank Private Client Group for five years and has held various banking and management positions, most recently serving as private banking managing director for the Private Client Group in Milwaukee.
Dan Pugh has joined the printing sales staff of Chenequa Corp. Pugh brings more than 25 years of industry experience to the company.
Mike Brauer has been named vice president for university advancement at Cardinal Stritch University. Brauer has 18 years of fund-raising experience. Previous employment includes director of regional development, Marquette University; director of development, Marquette University High School and the Milwaukee School of Engineering; executive director, Rogers Memorial Hospital Foundation. Prior to joining Cardinal Stritch, Brauer owned his own consulting business. He is a graduate of Marquette University.
Gilda’s Club Southeastern Wisconsin, Milwaukee, announced the additions of Maureen M. Squire as executive director and Susan Mingesz as program director. Squire has more than 25 years of experience in management, marketing and development, including positions in non-profit social services and higher education. She holds a master’s degree in business management. Mingesz has more than 20 years of experience working with non-profit, social service and mental health agencies, including clinical and managerial positions. Milwaukee Western Bank has hired Dennis J. Ciche as senior vice president of commercial lending. Ciche has more than 23 years of experience in the financial industry specializing in commercial lending and new business development. Conrad has 20 years of experience as a sales and marketing executive with AT&T in New Jersey, Michigan and Wisconsin. He is a graduate of Central College in Pella, Iowa, and did post-graduate study in telecommunications engineering at Southern Methodist University.

The Russ Darrow Automotive Group has named Chuck Katula as general manager of Russ Darrow Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge, Milwaukee, and Brian Cesario as general manager of Russ Darrow Isuzu, Mequon. Katula joins Darrow from HUB North where was general manager for 15 years. He has more than 25 years of experience in automotive sales and management. Cesario joins Darrow from Ernie Von Schledorn where he was the used car sales manager. He has worked in automotive sales and management for 16 years.
Paul Zandt and Christine Wallace have joined Zeppos & Associates, Milwaukee, as account executives. Prior to joining Zeppos, Zandt spent 10 years as an on-air meteorologist and reporter for WTMJ-TV and radio. Zandt is a graduate of UW-Madison with a bachelor’s degree in meteorology. Wallace was a news reporter for WXOW-TV in La Crosse before she joined Zeppos. Wallace also worked for a television station in Madison and for the CBS network in New York City. Wallace is a graduate of UW-Madison, and holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and communication arts.
Raabe Corp., Menomonee Falls, appointed Jay Baumgartner to the position of national accounts manager of specialty markets. Prior to joining Raabe, he worked for 12 years in the packaging industry in sales and marketing. Baumgartner holds a bachelor’s degree from Ball State University.

Knapp has more than eight years of public relations and marketing experience, both in-house and with external agencies. Knapp earned her bachelor’s degree in public relations from Chapman University in Orange, Calif.
PDC Midwest, Hartland, has added Vic Markulis as a project architect for senior living and heath care projects. Markulis comes to PDC Midwest with more than 35 years of architectural experience.
Crispell-Snyder, Lake Geneva, has promoted Diane Thoune to project engineer and Paul Schafer to senior construction engineer. Thoune joined the company in 1999 and holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering from Michigan Technological University. Schafer joined the company in 2000 and holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with construction and geotechnical emphasis from UW-Platteville.
Frank Scaffidi Jr. has been hired as a sales executive at Wisconsin Title, Closing & Credit Services, Waukesha. Scaffidi has 18 years of sales and service experience and was most recently an independent telecommunications consultant for McLeod USA. He is a graduate of UW-Milwaukee.
Peter Muth, a project engineer with Ruekert/Mielke, Waukesha, has been named a stockholder with the firm. Muth has been with Ruekert/Mielke since 1989 and has worked as a project manager and project engineer on a variety of municipal projects. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Marquette University.
QPS Staffing Services (QPS) has added Ken Miller, Jesslane Fantauzzi and Carrie Dailey to its Milwaukee operations. Both Miller and Fantauzzi work for QPS’ south office located on Mitchell Street. Miller was hired as a placement specialist while Fantauzzi was hired as an employee relations representative. Dailey, who works out of QPS’ headquarters in Greenfield, was hired as data entry.
