Bucks host MACC Fund game tonight

The 34th Annual Milwaukee Bucks MACC Fund Game will be held tonight at the Bradley Center as the Bucks take on the Minnesota Timberwolves. The event will kick off at 5:30 p.m. with the Chili’s KidsFest in the upper level of the Bradley center and will be followed by a 7:30 p.m. game start.
Kidsfest will feature a variety of games, face painting, clowns, cookie decorating and family food.
Tickets to the MACC fund game are available prior to the game at the Bradley Center starting at $10. Lazar Hayward, former Marquette University basketball starter, is on the roster for the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Jon McGlocklin, the “Original Buck” started the MACC fund game in 1976 with radio announcer Eddie Doucette. Doucette’s son, Brett was diagnosed with cancer as a child, but he now resides in Arizona with his wife.
The Bucks MACC fund games have raised over 1.3 million for the MACC Fund since 1977.
Noah Polzin, a ten-year-old from Waukesha who was diagnosed with leukemia when he was seven, will announce the starting line ups for the team and the honorary game ball will be presented by three-year-old Liam Merz from Wauwatosa who was diagnosed with leukemia in June.
In addition to KidsFest, the first 1,000 children under the age of 14 to enter the Bradley Center will receive an autographed photo of Andrew Bogut and Brandon Jennings. Trek Bicycle Corporation and the Wisconsin basketball Coaches Assocation will present Jon McGlocklin the proceeds from their various 2010 MACC Fund events.
