Community health grants help local women

Susan G. Komen for the Cure in Southeast Wisconsin has awarded $649,000 in annual community health grants to local organizations. The grants will allow for more women in Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine, Kenosha, Ozaukee, Washington, Jefferson and Walworth counties to get mammograms. The Wisconsin Women’s Health Foundation will also take over management of the Kohl’s Southeast Wisconsin Breast Health Assistance Fund, expanding access to more women. Community partners that received this year’s grants from Komen include:
