Dohmen acquires California company

Milwaukee-based Dohmen Company chief executive officer Cynthia (Dohmen) LaConte announced today that the Dohmen Investment Group has acquired MedComm Solutions LLC of Emeryville, Calif.
MedComm provides evidence-based medical communications services to biopharmaceutical companies.
LaConte said additional acquisitions are planned for 2011 as part of Dohmen’s strategy to join together a series of exceptional health care service companies dedicated to reducing cost, complexity and conflict within the healthcare supply system.

This is the second acquisition this year for Dohmen. In February, it acquired PlanIt, Inc., a health care analytics company based in Germantown, Wis.
