Brian Andrew, a chartered financial analyst, has joined Cleary Gull as chief investment officer.

Andrew has worked in the investment industry as an analyst, portfolio manager, CIO and business leader since 1987.

He succeeds Maureen Busby Oster, CFA. Oster has decided to retire after nearly 43 years in the investment industry. Oster will remain closely involved with the firm through June, 2012.

Andrew also will chair the firm’s Investment policy committee and serve on the equity, fixed income and institutional strategy committees.

Andrew previously served as CIO and president of the money management subsidiary and mutual fund company for Ziegler Cos. and was a principal and chief operating officer at a Milwaukee-based investment management firm.

Christopher Brock has been named vice president of business banking for Brookfield-based North Shore Bank, where he will specialize in Small Business Administration lending.

“Chris a great choice to oversee our SBA lending,” said Bob Hoepfner, regional vice president of business banking at North Shore Bank. “His dedication to clients and exceptional service is what North Shore Bank is all about, and we’re delighted to have him at our bank.”

Joann M. Eisenhart has been named vice president of human resources at Northwestern Mutual. She was also named an executive officer of the company.

Eisenhart previously served as senior vice president – human resources with Pfizer, Inc. Prior to joining Pfizer, she served in numerous human resources and scientific leadership roles over a 16-year career with Rohm and Haas Co.

John D. Griffith has been named vice president and commercial relationship manager with Johnson Bank-Milwaukee.

Griffith has been an associate at Johnson Bank for nearly seven years. He previously served as the bank’s vice president and commercial relationship manager in its Arizona region and the market president for its Burlington location.

Michael Mohamadi has been named vice president of U.S. Bancorp Fund Services, LLC. He will oversee the east coast operations of the Alternative Investment Products division of U.S. Bancorp Fund Services. The division specializes in the unique servicing needs of alternative and private investment products such as hedge funds, offshore funds and distressed assets.

“We are excited to add Michael to our team,” said Christine Waldron, senior vice president and director of the Alternative Investments division at U.S. Bancorp Fund Services. “Michael’s expertise will provide our clients with the specialized investment services their funds require to stay competitive in the current marketplace.”

Mohamadi previously worked with Goldman Sachs Administration Services where he managed the fund accounting group in New Jersey. Mohamadi has also worked at Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank and Ernst & Young.
