Cundiff brings over 20 years of executive, managerial and professional experience in aerospace. Most recently, he led strategy and business development for UTC Aerospace Systems. Previously, he was at Honeywell Aerospace for more than 15 years. He began his career as an engineer with The Boeing Company developing the Boeing 777 aircraft.

“I am delighted to be a part of Astronautics, a company with a long heritage of providing industry leading displays and information servers to aircraft from military and commercial wide-body transports to tactical and trainer aircraft and helicopters,” said Cundiff. “This capability, coupled with increasing requirements from operators and aircraft manufacturers for better management, security and display of information, provides us a strong platform for growth. I look forward to building on Astronautics’ prior successes.”

“Astronautics has been a leader in avionic navigation instruments, displays and computing systems for a wide range of military and commercial helicopters and aircraft for over 50 years,” said Ronald Zelazo, Astronautics’ chairman of the board and chief executive officer. “More recently, we have been on the forefront of the FAA’s NextGen program with innovative ADS-B display solutions and information management capabilities. With his deep experience in avionics, NextGen and the EU’s SESAR program, Chad’s leadership and vision will ensure Astronautics is ready with the solutions customers demand.“
