Startup Milwaukee launches 96square

Startup Milwaukee has announced the launch of 96square, a new co-working space for startup companies in southeastern Wisconsin.

96square, located in the historic Blatz Wash House on Market Street in downtown Milwaukee, is an 11,000-square-foot space that will provide “entrepreneurs with access to affordable scalable office space, mentorship, potential investors, talent and a community of like-minded entrepreneurs,” the organization stated.

“96square is a game changer for Milwaukee’s startup community,” said Matt Cordio, Startup Milwaukee co-founder and executive chairman, in a video announcing the project. “Never before have entrepreneurs, investors, and world-class technical and creative talent had a place to meet, collaborate and work in the city of Milwaukee.”

Area companies Alithias, Find My Spot, Onkol, Rent College Pads, SAR32 Technologies, UCAP, LLC, Voxel Metric, Wisconsin Super Angel Fund and others are already located at 96square’s Market Street location.

96square gets its name from the fact that the city of Milwaukee is approximately 96 square miles.
