GPS Education Partners has moved its corporate offices to 13000 W. Silver Spring Drive in Butler. The new offices opened on Monday.
GPS is a nonprofit, formerly known as Second Chance Partners for Education, that provides a manufacturing work-based education to high school juniors and seniors.
The organization attributed the move to significant growth since it started in 2000. It was previously located at 892 Main St. in Pewaukee, at Waukesha County Technical College.
GPS has grown from facilitating seven manufacturing education centers in 2011 to 13 today and three more planned for September openings. The education centers are located on-site at local manufacturing companies that offer the work-learning program.
“The new office space means greater service for partners, students and parents, expanded training and meeting space, and room for growth as the organization continues to expand to serve more students,” said President Stephanie Borowski.
