CHW Foundation names new president

The Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin Foundation has named Meg Brzyski Nelson chief development officer and president.

 

In her role, Brzyski Nelson will be responsible for leading Children’s Hospital’s fundraising efforts through strategic plan development, collaborative partnerships and donor cultivation.

Most recently, Brzyski Nelson served as associate vice president of university advancement for Marquette University, where she was part of leading large-scale fundraising efforts, donor cultivation and stewardship activities, and alumni outreach and communication functions.

Brzyski Nelson earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of Business Administration from Marquette University. She is an active volunteer and executive committee board member of PEARLS for Teen Girls, an empowerment program targeting at-risk girls in urban Milwaukee. In addition, she has received awards for her teaching and leadership. Brzyski Nelson and her family live in Shorewood.
