Wauwatosa-based Briggs & Stratton Corp. has added Shaunna Balady to its executive team as vice president of corporate development.
Balady will lead the mergers and acquisitions team, as well as strategic planning activities for the manufacturer.

Balady comes to Briggs & Stratton from GE Home & Business Solutions, where she was the business development leader with primary responsibility in overseeing all M&A activity for the business unit, while formulating the company’s external growth roadmap. Balady also served in strategic planning and acquisition positions at Rockwell Automation Inc. and CNH Global.
Over her career, she has led and completed more than 30 transactions, including product, service and software related deals.
