The Armed Forces Foundation (AFF), with the support of Oshkosh Defense, a division of Oshkosh Corporation, has announced that the "Rumble With a Cause" sweepstakes is off to a rousing start. Through April 15, 2010, donations raised from this sweepstakes campaign will support active and retired members of the U.S. Military and their families.
"Oshkosh Defense has attained a reputation as a stellar supporter of our brave men and women in the U.S. military," said Patricia Driscoll, president and executive director of the Armed Forces Foundation. "This is an excellent opportunity for people to donate to a good cause and have a chance to win one of two unique, high-quality motorcycles, and we thank Oshkosh for their contributions."
Entrants to the sweepstakes will have the chance to win one of two custom-painted Harley-Davidson Fat Boy motorcycles, donated to the AFF for the sweepstakes by Oshkosh Defense. On the entry form, participants are asked to select entry into either the sweepstakes for the Marine Corps-themed "Semper Fidelis Salute" or the sweepstakes for the Army-themed "American Soldier Salute" motorcycle. No donation or purchase is necessary to enter the sweepstakes and winners must meet eligibility requirements.
AFF issues direct aid to wounded warriors, as well as active-duty, retired personnel, Guard, Reserve Components, and their families through a variety of programs.
"At Oshkosh Defense, we are always looking for ways to give back to our warfighters who defend our freedom," said Andy Hove, Oshkosh Corporation executive vice president and president, Defense. "We are honored to have this chance to work with the AFF and help support their programs for soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines, and their families."
