Bastille days will begin Thursday, July 9, but on Friday, July 10, Milwaukeeans will lock lips for the first Bastille Days KISS-a-thon. Beginning at 8 p.m., dozens of couples are expected to KISS the night away at the first-of-its-kind Bastille Days event. The challenge is hosted by Couples Resorts, Jamaica and 103.7 KISS FM radio Milwaukee, and will be held on Jackson Street, between Wells Street and Kilbourn Avenue.
Throughout the KISS-a-thon, couples need to keep their lips touching at all times, with breaks given to participants every 60 and 180 minutes. The contest is scheduled to last until the last lips are touching.
A random quick-draw prize of a four-night stay at Couples Resorts all-inclusive Couples Tower Isle in Ocho Rios Jamaica will be done for participants kissing for 10 minutes and 37 seconds. The grand prize will include roundtrip airfare for two from Milwaukee to Ocho Rios Jamaica for a seven-night all-inclusive vacation at Couples Tower Isle.
