Military families can send free ‘Messages of Love’

Krause Funeral Home in Milwaukee is inviting military families in the Milwaukee area to send holiday video messages for their serviceman or woman stationed far from home, via a free-of-charge, 20-minute live webcast, now through Wednesday, Dec. 31.

"We know that at this time of year, people are more keenly aware of the absence of their loved ones," said Mark Krause, president of Krause Funeral Homes. "It’s our hope that we can ease their heartache by using this cutting-edge technology to bring families together."

Krause will send your loved one an email invitation to view the webcast at the appointed date and time. Web casts will be archived online for 90 days, and can be viewed as many times as desired during that period.  A DVD of the web cast also can be created.

Earlier this year, Krause introduced funeral webcasts as a way to help bring family members together at a difficult time.
