Jefferson Wells, a global provider of accounting and finance-related services in Milwaukee, has named Richard Quinlan, CPA, global director of merger and acquisition services. In this role, Quinlan will be responsible for the strategic plan for an international finance and M&A services practice to support the firm’s global presence. Quinlan’s expertise includes M&A, acquisition integration, sales negotiations, strategic planning and strategic partner solutions. He has more than 16 years of financial experience in public and private company settings, venture capital ownership and public accounting.
Prior to joining Jefferson Wells, Quinlan served as president of Orchid International, a metal stamping and assembly company based in Brentwood, Tenn. where he led an acquisition and consolidation in Mexico and another in Canada.

First Business Capital Corp., a member of the First Business Financial Services Inc. family of companies, announced that Mark Buchert has been promoted to vice president – account executive. Buchert is responsible for managing existing client relationships within First Business Capital Corp. He has more than 11 years of asset-based lending experience which includes four years at Wells Fargo Business Credit in Milwaukee.
 
Bank Mutual is pleased to announce the appointment of Jaimie Charon as bank office manager at Bank Mutual’s Kenosha office. He most recently held the position of branch manager at another financial institution and is currently a member of the Sixth Street Theatre Board of Directors.

The board of directors of CIB Marine Bancshares Inc. announced that Charles Baker has been named to the company’s board. Baker has served as a director of CIB Marine’s subsidiary, Marine Bank, since July 2006. Baker is a CPA and retired as a partner of Ernst & Young LLP in 2005, after serving the firm for 36 years.
